John Evans was the eldest son of Daniel Evans (Dan Barbwr) of Garnant. John, seen here in his army uniform, served in the far east during the second world war. He moved to Watford and married His Step Mothers daughter, Eva Stone. Also pictured above is their son, Michael, who emigrated to Canada.
